Congratulations! Are you considering a newborn photography session? This is such a amazing time in your lives and to capture those first days of your baby's life; the delicate new features, expressions and precious first moments as a new family is something you will never get bored of seeing in your home. In real time these newborn days pass in a flash but your images will be the memories for years to come.
There are many things to take into account when choosing the right person to take your images. My top tip when choosing a photographer to capture the real essence of your family is to look closely at their past work – usually an extensive portfolio is included on their website. Every photographer brings their own style to their images and will have a distinctive look and feel to their work as a whole. Generally, most newborn images fit into two categories – posed and lifestyle. Posed newborn photos are typically done in a studio or studio set-up in your home and use beanbags, props, hats, wraps and blankets etc.

From the minute I started until the end of the evening this wedding was a show stopper! The bride and groom put in so many personal touches and it showed in all of the tiny details including a fun unique guest book idea for their guests to sign. So many fun details to photograph for the bride and groom throughout the day and here are a few of my favourites.
Just finished editing this beautiful wedding and sent it out for delivery to the bride and groom!!! I can't wait to blog further about it but for now here are a few images from their amazing wedding day
Spring weddings aren't very common in Atlantic Canada, when I met with Brittany and Jeff they filled me in on the details and I was excited to work with them. While discussing their engagement session they mentioned a favourite walking location they frequented with their fur baby Bugsy and it couldn't have been more perfect for an engagement portrait session! The sky had amazing moody clouds with a hint of the setting sun and Brittany and Jeff couldn't stop smiling and laughing with each other. I basically just hung back and let them cuddle up!
