Getting caught up blogging and had to share this handsome little man's newborn session! He was adorable and I loved this colourful session! We even captured a couple of sweet smiles for mom and dad :) These adorable felted little bears are always a hit and there will soon be a few more options available in the studio. They are the perfect size for those tiny little newborns :)

This spring was one no one could have predicted and sadly some families had to wait a few months to get photos of their new little ones. Newborns arrive by their own schedules regardless of what is happening in the world but with a few slight changes and some adjustments
we created some sweet memories for those families. Baby photos will always be treasured and will bring you back to the days of counting fingers and toes and that sweet baby scent. Congratulations! Are you considering a newborn photography session? This is such a amazing time in your lives and to capture those first days of your baby's life; the delicate new features, expressions and precious first moments as a new family is something you will never get bored of seeing in your home. In real time these newborn days pass in a flash but your images will be the memories for years to come. There are many things to take into account when choosing the right person to take your images. My top tip when choosing a photographer to capture the real essence of your family is to look closely at their past work – usually an extensive portfolio is included on their website. Every photographer brings their own style to their images and will have a distinctive look and feel to their work as a whole. Generally, most newborn images fit into two categories – posed and lifestyle. Posed newborn photos are typically done in a studio or studio set-up in your home and use beanbags, props, hats, wraps and blankets etc. Check out our studio tour below and if we are a great fit contact us today! Video by: Kirsten Stanley Productions Newborn sessions are one of my favourite sessions to do and this little boy was so sweet. His family all came for the session and their love for him was clear to see. I love mulit generational images! They are so very important to capture and have as keepsakes.
This adorable little one really made me work at the beginning but once she fell asleep she was a dream baby to work with.
This sweet baby girl was so easy going and was nice and sleepy for most of the session. Mom came in with an idea of what she was looking for and once we were done babe was still fast asleep so we played with some different looks for a few minutes.
Sometimes last minute ideas end up as my favourites. This session got off to a bumpy start but once he settled down it was smooth sailing. He had the sweetest little curl in his hair and an adorable pout though most of the session. Look out world this little one will move mountains someday.
