I had an opportunity to visit with this bride at her parent's home in Sussex, the location of the wedding, a few weeks before the big day and was thrilled when I saw how beautiful their property was. Needless to say, my mind was spinning with some great ideas for some of the areas of her parents home.

I was super excited for this wedding day to arrive!! This adorable couple had some really fun ideas that they incorporated into their wedding day that revolved around their much loved dogs. Two of them are chocolate labs and they had some fun wedding ideas that were really sweet. Donations to the Animal Rescue League were given for kisses and a S'mores bar (with lots of chocolate) was on hand for a fun sweet treat. The bride booked the beautiful Homeport Bed and Breakfast for the girls to get ready in and we returned for some beautiful wedding photos after the ceremony. We even lucked out and had the use of an incredible car for some fun photos.
I love small intimate weddings and this one didn't fall short on anything. The ceremony was held at a family home in the backyard and was beautifully decorated. I loved the colours used in the flowers and decorations, I admit I love orange. The bride and groom are both clearly in love and were surrounded by family and friends while they read their vows to each other.
A beautiful start to my 2015 wedding season! The weather wasn't quite as warm as we had hoped but we managed to find a beautiful location just a few short steps onto a walking trail and once out of the wind it wasn't quite so cold. The bride was beautiful and the groom was handsome and the love they shared was very apparent to all. Here are just a few images from the evening. To warm up a tiny bit I brought along a portable blue-tooth speaker and we rocked out to music on my iphone!
I loved this wedding! It was a beautiful day for an outdoor barn wedding and the bride incorporated some amazing details that were very special to both of them. The decorations from the flowers to the table seat markers were all very unique and stunning. There are so many great images I will apologize now for the long post. To start off here are a few of my favourite detail images. This book has a special meaning to the bride and since there are no words to the story it made the perfect Guest Book! You just have to look at these two to know they are truly in love!
My first wedding of 2014 will be a hard one to top! This wedding was one of the most unique weddings I have photographed to date. First was the location.....
The Irving Nature Park! No not the beach, and not on one of the trails. We took a short walk through the woods to a large rock overlooking the water and it was beautiful! Secondly, none of the wedding party or guests had ever been to New Brunswick before! They selected the location using Google maps and internet images. It was a small and very intimate ceremony and I loved it, even though we all got covered with mosquito bites. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this very special day. The first wedding of the season and what a way to kick it off! The ceremony was held in the very beautiful and intimate Lancaster Baptist Church on the West Side. The day was filled with touching moments and Mother Nature decided to cooperate and held off the rain until minutes after we finished the Bride and Groom Portratis at the beautiful Irving Nature Park. We ended the evening with a small tribute to Mother Nature!
